When you create a map, we collect the locations and text you provide to generate your map. When you purchase, Stripe collects your payment information and email address — we never see or store your full card number.

How We Use Your Data

We use your information to: create and render your map, process your order, send order confirmations and delivery updates, and improve our service. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Third-Party Services

We use the following services to operate Map of Us:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Mapbox — map rendering
• Printful — print fulfillment and shipping
• SendGrid — transactional email
• Cloudflare — file storage and rendering
• Vercel — hosting

Each service has its own privacy policy governing their handling of your data.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for site functionality and analytics cookies (Meta Pixel, PostHog) to understand how visitors use our site and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.

Data Retention

Your map data and order information are retained as long as your map exists. You can request deletion of your data by contacting us at hello@mapsofus.com.
