What's in the frame exactly?
A solid black wood frame (not plastic), a white archival mat around the print, the 300 DPI matte print itself, and clear protective glass. Comes with mounting hardware, one nail and it's up.
18×24 or 24×36?
18×24 ($169) fits most gifts, desks, offices, above a console table, a powder room. 24×36 ($229) is the one you give when you want it to feel like a major gift, above the mantel, over the bed, in a dining room.
Does the glass cause glare?
Some, it's standard clear glass. If glare is a concern (e.g. bright room with a window facing the frame), canvas is a better choice since it has no glass at all and the matte canvas surface doesn't reflect.
Can I change the frame color?
Currently all framed prints come in black wood, which works in almost any room. If you want a specific color (oak, walnut, white), email hello@mapsofus.com with your order and we'll see what we can do with our printing partner.
